Charleston Surge is Charleston's "Community" Dragon Boat team, open to all folks that want to exercise with a group on the water and have FUN! Once you try this sport, there's no going back!

Parking info!

1. Please park at Brittlebank for all practices - no parking on marina property without prior approval  
2. Never park in the round-about or in the flower beds/bushes

Information for our new paddlers:

Sign up for practices on this site (link on the left).  New paddlers, PLEASE sign up for SATURDAY ONLY for your first practice.  We'll have special efforts that day to take care of you.

If you paddle with us a few times and want to join the team, dues are $140 for the season (What a deal!). Checks to be made payable to "Charleston Surge" and given to Mark Adelson.

Life jackets are required for every paddler in the boat every time the boat leaves the dock. If you would like to buy your own please buy red!

All practices are at the Bristol Marina.

The Bristol Marina does have bathroom facilities -
FYI - you will get wet from the paddles splashing, so dressing in quick dry clothes is best. We recommend paddling or sailing gloves - East of Maui on Folly Road has these.
